Golf in Hua Hin

Hua Hin Thailand has become one of the best golfing destination in South East Asia , with several world class golf courses all located with in 30 minutes of the town centre. Professionals and amateurs alike will enjoy the beautiful surroundings and superb facilities at these courses , Hua Hin is a golfers paradise!!

The oldest public course in Thailand , and still provides a challenge for all golfers.

Built on undulating woodland across the track from the railway station, the course offers a fairway studded with clumps of century-old trees. It takes players over uphill and down with tees that provide tantalizing glimpses of clear blue sea. A notable novelty are the fairway trees carved in animal shapes.

It's mature natural surroundings and beautiful location on the foot of a hill make this course a must for every visiting player.
     
 
Palm Hills Golf Course
 

The first of the new courses to open in 1991, Palm Hills is the closest to Hua Hin.

Two distinct nine hole sections are separated by the beautiful clubhouse and an outcropping from the hills around which Palm Hills has been constructed.

There is plenty of water on this course that winds around lakes and escarp-ments but not so that the average golfer should stock up on balls.

This is a very popular course, probably due both to its beauty and its easily reached location .

Lake View Golf Club

Designed by Roger Packard and opened 1993, in an area originally knows for its pineapple production.

The course has thousands of palms and native trees on its undulating hills that make one wonder how it could have ever been a plantation--a credit to Packard's ability.

Lake View suits the average club golfer and the low handicapper. There are a number of hidden holes with greens not visible from tees which tend to give one a sense of adventure.

     
 
Springfield Royal Country Club

Springfield is one of the best maintained courses in Thailand with excellent clubhouse facilities.

There are five tees for each hole but only the brave will dare the gold distance. This course will challenge the expert but not overwhelm one who does not play so regularly.

Accuracy is required at all times as the fairways are flanked by a series of hillocks and covered by a forest of small trees.

Majestic Creek Country Club

It is one of the longest courses in Thailand, and it also claims to have the longest hole in the Kingdom at 770 yards, which becomes a par six.

27 holes set in wonderful countryside with a backdrop of the border mountains of the local National Park, this Dr. Sukkitti design is definitely a true test and one not to be missed.

Plenty of water some long par 5's and all in all a great day's golf awaits you.

     
 
Hua Hin Seoul Country Club
 

Designed by Robert McFarland who has used one of the most interesting sites in Thailand to good effect.

The course is surr ounded on three sides by forested hills. From the clubhouse, paranomic sea views give the course a links atmosphere. The large variation in elevation allows many sweeping holes.

The 18th is a classical finishing hole played from an elevated tee and commanding a tee shot of about 200 yards carry to reach the fairway.
