Hua Hin Market Village, a new huge shopping mall, that hosts and plenty of shops offering latest fashon clothes, art, optical services, camera and computer equipment and a whole range of other goods, even a multiplex cinema and a bowling center.
After a sun-filled day on the mile-long beach or around the swimming pool or having visited one of the several attractions around Hua Hin, such as waterfalls, spectacular views and temples, it is time for dinner.
There is no shortage of restaurants in Hua Hin and in the last couple of years the town has seen a culinary explosion. With every kind of restaurant ranging from traditional Thai food to world class sea food, Japanese, European, traditional English, American fast food, Korean BBQ, and more. The restaurants built on stilts into the sea offer superb seafood in the legendary and unsurpassed preparation of the Thai cuisine.
There are plenty of bars in Hua Hin, most of which can be found contained within a few blocks of the centre of town. Some can get quite loud later at night, but in the afternoon and early evening they are "family friendly". You can also find bars with a good atmosphere around town in which to watch sporting events or just for general conversation. Some are fully air conditioned and others provide really good food and more extensive menus. There are also a number of watering holes where local expats are known to frequent. These are a great source of local knowledge should you wish to extend your stay.
